“A friend in need, is a friend in deed”
My name is Donald Jones, but please call me D.J. and the above phrase are words that I live by, because life without friends to share it with, makes one's life lonely and empty. I know that feeling, I've felt that feeling for several years being on Death Row. But despite the pain I've caused my family, my friends and others concerned, I remain strong, positive and willing to help others, especially our youth today to share my experiences with them so they never make the same mistakes I did. This is where my joy comes from, but there are still times when my loneliness for true, honest friendship is almost hard to imagine and this is why I reach out today. My interest includes reading mystery novels and love storits, yes I admit it, I am a hopeless romantic! (SMILE!) I'm an eclectic when it comes to music, depending on my mood, and I'm a very big sports fan too. I love poetry, love songs and I'm currently writing my own autobiography, so my son, Donnell, pictured with me, will have a father he can be proud of one day. I promise to respond to every letter I receive. “A FRIEND IN NEED, IS A FRIEND IN DEED”. If you want or need a true friend, please respond. My door is open to YOU!
