Again, thank you! Why? For picking Houston, Texas, to have your convention and to bring together all these wonderful and caring people.

It makes us feel better, more than you can know or imagine. While you are at the convention, the different meetings, networking, developing new plans of attacks on the death penalty, you are helping us.

Just knowing you are there will help our peace of mind and we know we are not alone.

By being in Houston, who has sent more people to Death Row, hand more people executed, you are bringing attention to the insanity the city is allowing its elected politicians in the justice system do in their name.

As one state official said to the media, the prosecutors in this state are out of control and use the law and the death penalty to advance their own careers. So, as you sit, listen, and work at this convention, know how much we here, on Texas Death Row appreciate your work, time, and efforts.

Thank you for giving Houston and Texas a black eye and unwanted attention. Your actions will be seen and noted, your words heard, and know this, if it changes one person's mind about the death penalty, makes one person question what is going on in this state, it is worth it.

God Bless You All!

DEATH ROW ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

Over half of the men on Texas Death Row are not locked up all the time.

A good number of the men like to play basketball, hand ball, horse shoes, dominoes, chess and such.

But unlike general population inmates, we do not have an officer for Death Row to coordinate and supervise sporting events and activities.

Fortunately we have men here who will and can take the time to work together to get teams organized, making schedules and coordinating a tournament.

The thing is WE NEED SPONSORS!! If you are interested in helping to sponsor tournaments and to get a sponsor package, please write: Bill Coble #976, Ellis Unit, Huntsville, TX 77343

COMING TO OUR WEBSITE:

The men and women of Texas Death Row have submitted much more material for publication than can go into this hard copy of the TDRJ.

SO....we will be publishing MANY MORE pieces on our website. Updates are made every Sunday evening. Please bookmark our site and visit us every week.
